Dental Implants

Dental implants at Janssen Dental Clinic in Green Bay Wisconsin

Dental implants are a popular choice for replacing missing teeth. The dentist places titanium implants in the jawbone to create a strong base for permanent replacement teeth. This is better than bridges and dentures. Many adults lose teeth due to injury, decay, or gum disease, so implants are an option for most people. Implants feel natural and don't slip or make embarrassing noises like dentures. They also help prevent bone loss and are resistant to decay.

Overall, dental implants are a long-term and successful solution.

Dental implants offer a natural look and feel, creating beautiful smiles that are as functional as they are attractive.

Additional benefits of dental implants include:

  • Natural look and feel

  • Eat all your favorite foods

  • No worries about dentures slipping

  • Prevent bone loss and tooth shifting

  • Simple care with regular dental visits

PROCESS OF AN IMPLANT

Process of a dental implant

The process of an implant can take anywhere from 4 to 8 months

Phase One

We take a scan to assess your bone level and health. The tooth is extracted and PRF is placed in the extraction site to allow for best healing.

Phase Two

After a healing phase of 3-4 months, we see you in office to take a scan to assess your bone level, and digitally plan the placement of your implant. The implant body is placed and a healing cap is secured to the implant to allow the site to heal.

Phase Three

After another healing phase of 3-4 months, we remove the healing cap and place a custom abutment and crown to complete your implant. From that point, the implant works and feels like a normal tooth.
